In Exit the Matrix 2026 (1), the dissolution of the matrix continues. The work shifts towards even narrower limits of colour, line and shape, as though the practice of attention were refining itself. With fewer elements available, each one carries more weight, and the smallest variation becomes significant.
Through sustained discipline, the drawings become a site of concentration. They propose repetition as a method of inquiry grounded in restraint, patience and attentional endurance. Rather than illustrating meditative practice, Exit the Matrix 2026 (1) adopts its logic, using patterned systems to examine how states of being are structured, mediated and continually renegotiated through attention over time.
